Rebuilding the remaining 75% of the roof

Four new skylights are a part of the new roof plan. The skylights are composed of a box which holds an aluminum frame (recycled from junk windows found in the alley behind the building) which will support the glass.

Proceed to photos

The time lapse movie below shows the process of constructing and installing the skylight box. What was actually a matter of hours, is compressed into this 18.6 second "sped up" version. A program called CPix was used to control the camera. It was set up to take a photograph every 15 seconds. A computer program assembled the massive amount of photographs into this movie, which plays 30 frames (individual photographs) per second.

Challenge:
How many photographs were required to make this movie? If each photograph had a file size of 47,837 bytes, what was the toal disk space required for all of the photographs? How much "real time" is represented by this "sped up" version?
The first person to successfully answers all of these questions correctly will receive a 420 Cherry Street T-shirt of their choice from the store. (Submissions can be sent to amoz "at" 420cherrystreet "dot" com.)
